Goals:
Help the youth recognize they can do hard things.
Help the youth gain a deeper respect for their ancestors.
Help the youth grow closer to Christ by providing an unforgettable spiritual experience.
3 Trek Family Activities:
(Activities will be done in the first weeks of March, April, and May)
1. Pick a name to trek "in honor of" and bring their story to share with your Trek Family.
2. Participate in a small service activity with your Trek Family.
3. Watch 17 Miracles Together as a Trek Family

What:
Youth and leaders will reenact some of the faith-building experiences of the pioneers who journeyed to the Salt Lake Valley in the mid-1800s. Youth will be organized into groups called “families,” wear pioneer-era clothing, pull handcarts, and participate in pioneer activities (games, skills, muskets, archery, log splitting, swimming, dancing), and devotionals! Total TREK walking distance is 10+ miles.
Cost:
$150/Youth (Ward will cover half ($75) of the cost)
Transportation:
We will be using buses to transport the youth to and from Trek.
Where:
12929 Mile High Ranch Rd., Beaumont, CA 92223; about a 4-hour drive from Henderson (250 miles away).
